    Boarding at 9 a.m. on the first day of the course: direct handling of the catamaran, exchanges on the experiences and expectations of each person.

    You will get acquainted with the boat, the rest of the crew (7 people max), the body of water and the nautical chart.

    We're off for 5 to 6 hours of sailing with a possible stopover in the middle of the day: this is the key day to understand the basics of how the sailboat works, the wind, the points of sail, the instruments... through maneuvers and steering the catamaran.


    Camping takes place on the beach, or gently rocked by the waves on the catamaran's trampoline in double tents. There are also two single berths in the hulls.


    We prepare our meals on board, using fresh produce. We have everything we need to cook hot and delicious meals!

    You do not need to provide any supplies or onboard expenses for this internship, unless you wish to introduce us to a specialty from your country.

We camp on the beach or are rocked by the waves on the boat's trampoline.

There are also 2 single berths in the hulls.

You only need to plan for a compact sleeping bag.


Restabern is a Formula 40 racing catamaran (currently Multi 2000 class) winner of the SNSM trophy in 2005 and 2014.

In 2018 Restabern set its sights on sharing by becoming a sailing school.

The goal was to make the developments of the last 30 years accessible to the general public.

The course ends at Port Manec'h on the last day around 5pm, after a short hour of tidying up and reviewing the course.
