A sailing trip to discover the joys of sailing on a cruising sailboat. The goals are to understand the role of crew member and to get an introduction to sailing! You'll sail in the harbor of Marseille, the Calanques, Cassis , and more. Twenty kilometers of rugged coastline overlooking turquoise waters stretching from Marseille to Cassis form the wild paradise of the Calanques, a designated national park. A magnificent program awaits you under the watchful gaze of Notre-Dame de la Garde (the "Bonne Mère") and the Mediterranean sun! Learn how to orient yourself against the wind, reef the sails, and stop the sailboat . During the course, you'll take charge of the engine or sail , learn hoisting and lowering maneuvers, speed control, mooring techniques, and much more. State-certified or holding the BPJEPS qualification specializing in cruising, they possess extensive experience and have sailed thousands of miles in all latitudes, primarily in the context of sailing instruction. They draw upon their expertise, which grows each year with nearly 6,000 nautical miles sailed. Their goal is to help you progress at your own pace and to guide you through every aspect of discovering sailing.

    You will be greeted by the skipper at 9:00 AM, followed by an introduction to the crew. Next, the instructor will brief you on the objectives to be achieved at this level, and you will set sail for your first day of sailing on a cruising sailboat. Lunch will be enjoyed together at anchor, and after an afternoon of training, you will return to port at the end of the day for shopping, dinner with the other trainees, and your first night on board.

Accommodation

🚢 Sailing cruise ship - Days 1 to 3

During the course, accommodation is provided on board the boat . It is included from the night before the start of the course, if needed. Cabins are shared by two trainees (there are 2 to 3 cabins depending on the type of sailboat). One cabin is reserved for the instructor as needed. The sailboats we usually sail on for these courses are between 10 and 14 meters long and offer both performance and comfort.
