Upon completion of the course, you will be able to identify inappropriate behavior on board a sailboat, have a good understanding of your surroundings, and a solid command of maritime terminology. You will sail in an idyllic setting: the harbor of Marseille, the Calanques, Cassis , and more—20 km of rugged coastline overlooking turquoise waters, forming the wild paradise of the Calanques, a designated national park.     You will be greeted by the skipper at 9:00 AM, followed by an introduction to the crew. Next, the instructor will brief you on the objectives to be achieved at this level, and you will set sail for your first day of sailing on a cruising sailboat. Lunch will be enjoyed together at anchor, and after an afternoon of training, you will return to port at the end of the day for shopping, dinner with the other trainees, and your first night on board.
