    We depart for Syabru Besi, the starting point of our trek. Along the way, we catch our first glimpses of Nepal: traditional villages, mountains, rice paddies, and more. After lunch, we begin our trek. The trail follows the Bhote Koshi River valley and the Langtang Khola , climbing gradually. We traverse forests of rhododendrons, oaks, and bamboo. Several small hamlets and rest stops dot the path. The ascent becomes steeper towards Rimche , situated on a hillside offering a beautiful view of the valley.
