The rest of the day will allow you to fully enjoy Playa del Carmen at your own pace: relaxation, beach, exploring the city or simply resting between two adventures.

Designated a protected marine reserve, the island is home to spectacular reefs that are part of the Mesoamerican Reef System, the second largest barrier reef in the world. Accessible directly from Playa del Carmen by speedboat, Cozumel is renowned for its exceptionally clear water, its dramatic drop-offs, and its famous drift dives.

Throughout your dives, you will be able to observe a particularly rich fauna: turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, schools of tropical fish and, with a bit of luck, the emblematic Cozumel toadfish, an endemic species that is not found anywhere else in the world.
