Best of the diving sites on Bali's East Coast

This day of diving is dedicated to the Tulamben area. To get there, you'll need to travel to the northeast of the island. Our team will pick you up from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 AM for a journey of approximately two hours. Once in Tulamben, you'll dive at one of the island's most renowned dive sites and one of the world's most famous shipwrecks: the USS Liberty. This American cargo ship, which ran aground after a Japanese attack during World War II, rests at a depth of between 5 and 30 meters, very close to the shore. It's beautifully colonized by corals and a variety of marine life (frogfish, leaf fish, etc.). Entry is from the shore. The seabed is pebbly, so it's best to wear booties. At midday, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant before heading out for a second dive in the Tulamben area. After these two dives, you will return to Sanur and your hotel, where you will be back around 6pm... just in time to enjoy the evening.

Departure from the hotel is at 8:00 AM to explore Nusa Penida, Bali's neighboring island! The minibus will take you to the beach where you'll board one of our boats. You'll then enjoy two dives in southern Nusa Penida (Manta Point and Crystal Bay, weather permitting) to admire the majestic manta rays and perhaps even spot the famous Mola Mola. Between dives, a meal will be served on board – a pleasant way to pass the time during your surface interval! Once both dives are complete and you've made some wonderful memories, the boat will take you back to Sanur around 4:00 PM, leaving you free to enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

The rhythm is set: after a good night's sleep, meet at 7:30 am, ready to go. You head north to Jemeluk Bay. There, your jukung, a traditional Indonesian outrigger boat, awaits. Embark on your dive! The bay's dive sites are varied, ranging from drop-offs to coral gardens. Photographers will be delighted by the small, unusual, and colorful marine life that inhabits the dense corals. And let's not forget the barracudas, tuna, Napoleon wrasse, batfish, and other turtles that frequent the sites! Lunch will be at a seaside restaurant before heading out for a second dive at another site in the bay. At the end of the day, you'll return to your hotel in Sanur.

This morning, departure from the hotel is scheduled for 7:30 am. Meet your guide at the hotel reception, and you will then travel to Padang Bai. After an hour and a half drive, you will arrive at this new dive site. From this beach, you will take a speedboat (approximately 20 minutes) to reach the Gili Islands. But which ones? Gili means "small island" in Indonesian, so there are many of them in the Indonesian archipelago! Today's destinations are Gili Tepekong and Mimpang, renowned for their diving, where you can encounter blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, barracudas, rays, and sometimes even the Mola Mola, particularly from July to October. Visibility is generally very good, and the coral reef is in excellent condition, but it remains a site where conditions can change very quickly. Your guide will wait for favorable conditions, especially the tide, before diving. Between the two dives, you will have lunch on the boat (picnic).

Your stay is already coming to an end... Your room must be vacated by noon, but you can leave your luggage at reception if your flight is later. Your driver will pick you up three hours before your flight time and take you to Denpasar Airport, from where you will depart, your head full of memories...
