The expert's opinion
The Jegue lagoon, where the lessons are held, is a closed lagoon with completely flat freshwater where you can stand everywhere, and a consistent wind, averaging between 16 and 25 knots depending on the season, making it accessible to all levels, from complete beginners to experts practicing jumps. It's a very safe and easy spot, truly accessible to everyone!

Hello! I am Virginie Rochette, a French woman living in Brazil since 2007, practicing and passionate about kitesurfing since 2003 (and snowboarding since 1989).
I have been teaching kitesurfing since 2006, giving lessons to all levels, all ages and all conditions since then in different countries before falling in love with Brazil where I decided to stay, and to create my school in 2013, in Lagoinha.
I am an IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) Examiner (Instructor), and I train kitesurfing instructors of all nationalities. I love teaching and am passionate about pedagogy and teaching techniques.
I still practice myself almost every day, specializing in freestyle, but I know how to adapt to each student to help them progress at their own pace in complete safety, whether they are a total beginner, intermediate, advanced or expert, child, adult or senior.
I also manage the team of instructors, reservations and welcoming new arrivals, to ensure that I offer you the best possible stay!

Passionate about kitesurfing in all its forms, Seb divides his time between the warm waters of Brazil (kitesurfing) and the snowy Alps (snowkiting). A certified IKO level 3 instructor with extensive experience, he will use his knowledge to help you progress quickly and safely, and will offer you a personalized training plan.
In addition to twintip lessons, he can also accompany you in strapless, his favorite practice, whether in the lagoon or at sea.
And he'll guide you in the evening for the après-kite activities!

Arrival at Fortaleza International Airport. Optional taxi transfer to Lagoinha, approximately a 1 hour 45 minute drive. Since flights from France arrive in the late afternoon/evening, it's always possible to travel directly to Lagoinha without this late-night transfer, thus ensuring a good night's rest after your flight and waking up refreshed the next morning to make the most of your time there and enjoy your sailing sessions.

Upon waking up, after a good breakfast, a buggy or quad will take you to Lagoa do Jegue , which will be your navigation spot for the next few days.
After showing you the spot and assessing your kitesurfing level, your instructor will give you 2 hours of private or semi-private lessons to guarantee rapid and personalized progress:
- Gradual and secure learning.
- Custom equipment included (board, harness, sail, life jacket, helmet)
- Courses are delivered via radio to ensure optimal safety and build confidence.
The spot is a flat, fresh and warm lagoon where you can stand everywhere, with a steady wind and plenty of space: a little paradise for kiters!
On site you will find all the necessary comforts: a restaurant if you wish to eat or drink something after class, private showers, toilets, four-poster beds to relax and leave your personal belongings, a chill zone with beanbag chairs, satellite wifi...
The buggy or quad will take you back to your posada at the time you wish.

This day is left free so that you can rest a little before your departure.
You can take the opportunity to stroll on the beach and discover, for example, the beach and the small fishing port of Porto Velho, or, on request to end your stay in style, discover the surroundings by quad bike or buggy, such as the Almecegas lagoon and its waterfall, the Rio Curu, the Rio Trairi, Guajiru..., have a paddle session in the mangrove or a horse ride.
And of course, if you still have energy, upon request, an additional kitesurfing session!

Your stay is coming to an end, but you still have some time to pack your suitcases!
The taxi will pick you up at your posada to take you to the airport (optional) at the desired time (allow 4 hours before your flight's departure time).
If your flight is at the end of the day, you can, as on day 9, on request to end your stay in style, discover the surroundings by quad bike or buggy, such as the Almecegas lagoon, the Rio Curu, the Rio Trairi, Guajiru...or have a paddle session in the mangrove.
And of course, if you still have energy, upon request, we can do one last kitesurfing session!
Day 10
Note
Generally, no changes to the program are expected due to the weather: in the Ceará region of Brazil, the wind blows daily and continuously throughout the season. However, as a precaution, days 8 and 9 remain available as a backup.
Your stay includes 12 hours of kitesurfing lessons , guaranteeing excellent progress. At the end of your course, you will receive an international IKO certification to attest to your achieved level.
Depending on your preferences, you can take advantage of days 8 and 9 to add one or two extra kitesurfing sessions (upon request). You will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area on foot, by quad bike or buggy, or even try stand-up paddleboarding in the mangroves.

Posada do Sol is a charming, quiet posada (inn) with a magnificent swimming pool overlooking the sea. We were captivated by its cozy, family-run feel, with its two floors and charmingly decorated bungalows. From the pool, you can see the entire bay of Lagoinha – the view is superb!
It offers single, double or twin, triple and quadruple rooms with excellent all-you-can-eat tropical breakfasts.
The owner, a Spaniard married to a Brazilian and speaking French, with whom we have worked for over 10 years, is very attentive, passionate about decoration, and takes great care of the customers and the Brazilian team is very helpful, kiteboarders really like this posada!
Breakfast is included every morning. Near the accommodation, you will find a multitude of restaurants and food services within walking distance, offering a wide variety of cuisines and atmospheres to suit all tastes.
