Breakfast at 8 a.m., then departure at 9:30 a.m. directly from the gîte—no car today. The group sets off on foot through the narrow streets of Molines, crosses the Aigue Blanche river, and plunges into the larch forests. The climb is steep, passing through Clot Henri—an alpine pasture seemingly frozen in time, straight out of a fairy tale—before reaching the Saint-Simon Chapel.
The Col des Prés de Fromage marks a transition: a wooden fountain, cows grazing in the high pastures, and a panoramic view of the Écrins mountains. A place that brings you back to basics. Then, following the ridge, the summit of Bucher appears at 2,254 meters—the central viewpoint of the Queyras, with its shepherd's hut and orientation table pointing towards Monte Viso, the Grand Queyras, Les Toillies, and the Italian peaks in the distance. The name "Bucher" comes from the fires that were lit here in the Middle Ages to warn the villages in the valley of danger. Meditation and a picnic on the heights.
Return loop through the valley opposite Molines, legs in the grass, heart full.
Return to the cottage around 3pm. Free time, massage optional.
At 6pm: yoga session dedicated to strengthening self-confidence, in direct resonance with the experience lived during the day.
Dinner at 7:30pm .
