In the gentle tranquility of the cold season, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with what truly matters, and nurture yourself, while setting clear intentions for the year ahead.
You will experience a unique New Year's Eve, warm, festive, and rejuvenating: between restorative yoga practices, shared vegetarian meals, moments of silence, inspiring landscapes, and time for yourself. Your yoga teacher will accompany you throughout your stay. Not all teachers offer the same yoga sessions, so pay close attention to the date you book if you are looking for a particular type of yoga (vinyasa, hatha, yin, etc.).
During your first session, she will assess each participant's level in order to adapt the lesson accordingly. The course program is generally flexible. If you wish to do a particular exercise and the group agrees, your teacher can then suggest a session or exercise that best meets your needs.
For the hike during your yoga retreat, you will need to tell your guide what level you are at so that the route can be adapted for the greatest number of people.

Arrival is from 4pm, for a first yoga class in the early evening.
You will receive an email confirming your stay, as well as a summons no later than 7 days before your departure.

The day begins with a Yoga practice between 8am and 11am.
Brunch is planned for 11am, followed by free time to enjoy the surrounding nature on a hike.
From 5pm to 7pm, your teacher will offer a Yoga session combined with meditation, before concluding the day with dinner at 7:30pm.
The aim of these days is to learn to relax while strengthening the body and mind, with an emphasis on managing emotions, concentration and breathing.
A hike is planned during the week.

Begin your final morning with a yoga and meditation session to awaken your mind. Afterward, enjoy an energizing snack. Then, immerse yourself in a holistic yoga practice, where you can explore different facets of yourself through postures , breathing exercises, and guided meditations. Lunch is included. The retreat ends at 2:00 PM .
Please remember to vacate your room by 10am at the latest.

The programs are given as a guide; the times may change depending on the teacher and the wishes of the group.
For the safety of participants, the guided hike may be modified or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond the control of the organizers (rockfall, landslide, etc.)

CHECK-IN: Participants have the option to arrive at the retreat venue a little earlier, from 2 pm. However, room availability and check-in cannot be guaranteed before 4 pm.
CHECK OUT: The room must be vacated by 10:00 AM. On the day of departure, brunch is planned around 12:00 PM, and check-out will be after brunch, around 1:00-2:00 PM. Please remember to pack your suitcase in advance.

In winter, for those coming by car, you will absolutely need winter equipment on your vehicle!

From the train station, share a taxi or arrange a ride with group members via WhatsApp. You will receive a confirmation letter and an invitation to the WhatsApp group no later than 7 days before your departure.
A taxi from the train station costs approximately €210 (weekday daytime rate)
To minimize taxi costs, you can take the 535 bus to Barcelonette OR use a BlaBlaCar! BlaBlaCar remains the best option.
Between Barcelonnette and the Bayasse refuge hotel, it is possible that someone from the hotel may be able to pick you up, but this is subject to availability .
Remember to plan your route (public holiday, Sunday, etc.) and don't plan a train too late where you risk finding yourself without a bus if the train is delayed!

The Hôtel de Bayasse is located 22 km from Barcelonnette and Pra-Loup, on the Route des Grandes Alpes, towards Barcelonnette, you will find the sign for the refuge on your right ( note that the Col de la Cayolle is closed in winter ).
