Before your departure, check with the embassy or consulate regarding the entry and stay requirements for your destination country. You can also find this information on the France Diplomatie website ( https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/dossiers-pays/ ).
In the case of flights with stopovers operated by different airlines, also check the entry requirements of the countries you are transiting through.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in compliance, particularly regarding the validity of your identity documents.
For example, some countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months after your return, and there are visa requirements, necessary vaccinations, and health recommendations. Don't forget to consider any customs restrictions or other requirements of your destination or transit country.
ℹ️ Information may change up to the departure date, remember to regularly check official websites.
Health and vaccines
No mandatory vaccinations are required to enter Peru.
Yellow fever vaccination is required only if you have recently travelled to a country at risk (endemic area).
Make sure you are up to date with your routine vaccinations.
It is strongly advised to protect yourself against mosquitoes: use a good repellent, wear loose-fitting, covering clothing, especially in the Amazon.
Before leaving, remember to visit your dentist, especially if you are planning a prolonged stay or a stay at high altitude.
Medical safety at altitude – Ifremmont & Sos Mam
As part of this trip, you will benefit from an exclusive partnership with Ifremmont, a leading institution in mountain and altitude medicine.
The SOS MAM service allows you, in case of a problem in an isolated area, to contact a French specialist doctor via satellite phone.
Your guide is specifically trained by Ifremmont to manage emergencies at altitude and ensures direct contact with doctors.
An online medical file will need to be created via teleconsultationsosmam. You will be provided with a code to link this file to your trip.
A preventive teleconsultation with a doctor from Ifremmont is also offered (€46 – not reimbursed), to assess your physical capacity to live at altitude.
This device is a real asset for preventing risks related to altitude and for traveling with complete peace of mind.
Please let us know of any allergies or specific dietary requirements when you register, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
