Trip completed from August 9th to 15th with 10 hikers (fully booked) + 1 guide. It's a physically demanding tour, but nothing impossible. As the itinerary states, it's best to have some hiking experience, as it involves full days of walking with significant elevation gain and loss. The scenery is magnificent and changes daily. The luggage transfer service is a real plus! You'll only have to carry a maximum of two consecutive days' worth of belongings, twice a week – so pack light on those days. The organization is well-run, the mountain huts and guesthouses are excellent, and the meals are plentiful: breakfast, lunch, and dinner! A huge thank you to our guide, Simon, for his good humor, his pace on the climbs, and his anecdotes! Thanks also to all the participants of this trip, thanks to whom everything went so smoothly!!

A seven-day hiking trip undertaken at the beginning of the season with a small group of four, led by Pablo. The scenery was stunning, and the weather was generally beautiful. The organization was perfect, and the inevitable minor hiccups (such as a delayed train, inclement weather, or a mountain hut not yet open) were handled flawlessly. In addition to being a walking encyclopedia of the local flora and fauna, our guide made everyone feel at ease and catered to each individual with optional detours and variations. A must-do for anyone wanting to discover this region.

I highly recommend this trip to the heart of the Queyras. A truly fantastic experience! I was lucky enough to be in a really great group, all equally suited to the hike. Our guide, Dorothee, was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly professional when needed (we were in the high mountains, after all 😅), and she knew how to adapt the route with little extras to help us enjoy the breathtaking scenery even more. It's a 4-star trek 🥾, not to be confused with a 2-star 😂. There are some really tough climbs at times, so be sure to read the description carefully; it's accurate. You'll be in the mid- to high-mountain range for 7 days, so you should be reasonably fit before setting off.

My first hiking experience was fantastic with this small group of seven people, aged 31 to 63. Everything was very well organized, the accommodations were excellent (often in 8-person dorms, but we still slept well), and the meals and picnics were delicious and varied. Our guide, Pablo, was incredibly friendly and humbly shared a wealth of information about the wildlife, flora, and the Queyras Valley. Between forests, scree slopes, snowfields, rivers, meadows, and marmots, we were blown away by the scenery. The region is simply magnificent, and the week will fly by with its incredible diversity. I was worried the level of difficulty might be too high, but if you have good cardiovascular fitness and no major health problems, it's perfectly doable. And you can take some days off to rest if needed. In short, I highly recommend it!

I discovered the Queras region thanks to Decathlon Travel, with their "Queras Tour and its 3000m Peaks," rated 4 out of 5... on paper. In reality, it was more like a 3 out of 5; we barely reached 3000m (2900m), but overall, I was expecting a more physically demanding hike. The guide was friendly but perhaps talked a bit too much about his personal life without really asking us questions to get to know us. As for setting off at the front of the group to enjoy the pace and work up a sweat, that was only possible on a few occasions.
