    From the village of Montroc , we leave France for a superb climb to the Col de Balme . All along the way, the majestic scenery unfolds: Mont Blanc , Aiguille Verte , Drus , and the Aiguilles de Chamonix . After enjoying these spectacular views, we begin a descent through the forest to reach the charming Swiss village of Trient .

Note

We will transport your personal belongings throughout your stay, so you only need to carry a light daypack. However, for three nights in the beautiful cabins of Mille, Louvie, and Prafleuri , we ask that you only bring the essentials. Your main belongings will be transported by vehicle. Therefore, it is important to bring a soft-sided bag suitable for this type of transport.

Meet at 9:15 AM in front of the Alpine Club chalet in the village of Le Tour.


DISPERSION

The hike ends in Zermatt around 2:00 PM. The group will disperse in Täsch. A taxi transfer to Le Châble is available; the price depends on the number of people.

For June starts, paid car parks are located in Chamonix. In Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, you can park your vehicle near Le Fayet train station, where buses and trains are available to reach Chamonix. The park-and-ride at the stadium in Le Fayet offers 200 free spaces.
