Your adventure begins in Syabru Besi , near the Tibetan border. The trail climbs gently from verdant rice paddies into a lush rainforest , a haven for monkeys and pheasants. Along the way, you'll experience a complete cultural immersion in the Sherpa and Tamang ethnic groups, whose traditions permeate every hamlet you pass through.

Above 3,000 meters, the landscape transforms into a spectacular mineral desert .
