Horseback riding in a gourmet and wild Corsica

After breakfast, meet with your guide to review the week's program and assess everyone's skill level . Horses are assigned based on your experience, before your first contact: gathering in the pasture , grooming, familiarizing yourself with the equipment, and initial exercises on the farm to get acquainted with horseback riding .

Lunch is taken on site, in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the afternoon, depart for a 2-hour horseback ride to Pointe du Corbeau . You will discover Corsican flora and fauna , with the added bonus of a spectacular view of the citadel of Corte .

Back to the farm, care for the horses, then dinner at the guest table .

After breakfast, you'll collect the horses from the pasture before heading towards Sainte-Lucie de Mercurio , with your picnic lunch in a saddlebag. The route will take you to the Civenti pass , where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley , like a bird's-eye view.

The hike continues on a section of the Mare a Mare Nord , with a picnic break by a stream , in a peaceful setting.

In the late afternoon, you will visit the GAEC A Pasturella cheese dairy , with a tasting of Corsican cheeses and cheese-based specialties. Purchases will be possible on site.

Return to the farm by minibus, followed by dinner at the host's table .

After breakfast, the horses are transferred to a truck. Once in the saddle, you follow a variant of the Mare a Mare Nord trail through the hilltop villages of Poggio-di-Venaco and Riventosa , with a friendly break for a drink. The ride continues to Casanova , where you have lunch near a 20th-century fountain in a typical setting.

At the end of the route, a support vehicle picks up horses and riders for a return to Albadu , where the mounts are left to rest.

You then continue your journey by minibus to visit Corte's only wine estate , with an aperitif tasting in the heart of the vineyards . Return to the farm at the end of the day.

The morning begins with a horseback ride in the woods of Saint-Jean , an opportunity to enjoy some gaits and admire the San Giovanni Battista chapel , built in the 11th century.

Back to the farm for lunch .

In the afternoon, head to Corte , the former historical capital of Corsica. You'll visit the hilltop citadel , explore the regional museum , and enjoy a ride on the little tourist train through the town. Free time to stroll around or buy some souvenirs .

Return to the farm at the end of the day, then dinner at the guest table .

An early departure towards the Aléria plain to reach the Marquiliani estate , renowned for its olive oil, wine, and almond and citrus groves . Upon arrival, a guided tour of the property followed by a tasting in the cellar , among the vats and barrels.

You then enjoy a country picnic in the heart of the estate, made up of local products .

In the afternoon, enjoy a horseback ride through the vineyards , between rows of olive trees and Corsican vines.

Dinner is served in a vaulted room , with a menu prepared by a local caterer .

Overnight stay in a cottage , with access to the swimming pool and sanitary facilities .

After breakfast at the estate, we set off on horseback towards Aléria beach . Along the way, the trails give way to sand, offering the opportunity to gallop freely . Once there, we enjoy a special moment with a swim in the sea on horseback .

Lunch is planned by the water, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Return to the farm in the afternoon, to share a final dinner at the Albadu guest table , punctuating this week of hiking between mountain and coastline.

After a final breakfast at the farm , it's time to prepare for your departure. A shuttle service is available to take you to the airport, according to your schedule and needs.
