    Meet at 8:30 am in Val d'Isère to meet your mountain guide . This will be an opportunity to get acquainted and check your equipment. A light bag is sufficient , as we will be spending only one night in a mountain refuge , where meals are prepared on site.

    The ascent begins on the right bank of the Isère River , entering the Vanoise National Park . After crossing the Malpasset Gorge , the route leads to the pass , then to the summit , marking the Franco-Italian border between the Haute Tarentaise and the Orco Valley. A break allows you to enjoy the view and capture the moment, perhaps with the chance to spot some ibex . The day ends with the descent to the mountain refuge , where we will spend the night.
