In a few words

Explore the hidden Ardèche on a multi-day hike in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park . Far from the hustle and bustle of the Gorges, this route reveals an authentic landscape, sculpted by the crystal-clear rivers of the Beaume and the Drobie . Over the course of several days, you will follow ancient transhumance routes and paved paths, between centuries-old chestnut groves , sun-drenched moors , and high-altitude meadows , all dominated by the majestic Tanargue massif , one of the iconic peaks of the Cévennes.

This guided immersion will take you through vibrant villages and unspoiled hamlets , where sturdy stone houses bear witness to a history deeply rooted in the land. You will find yourself in a wild, living, and welcoming natural environment, perfect for contemplation and disconnecting from the everyday . In summer, refreshing swims in emerald waters perfectly complement this off-the-beaten-path mountain experience.

Note

Far from the crowds of the Ardèche Gorges, this week-long hike through the Ardèche mountains takes us on the forgotten paths of the South of the Massif Central, in the land of Tanargue , the third major peak of the Cévennes, after Aigoual and Mont Lozère.

In the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park , the luminous rivers of the Beaume and the Drobie unfurl their emerald waters, dominated by spectacular balcony trails, where the shade of centuries-old chestnut groves struggles with high-altitude meadows, fir trees and sunny moors, bristling with bare rocks.

It is along timeless paths, paved trails once used by postmen, or transhumance routes still frequented by herds, that we will discover, day after day, thanks to the charm of the Tanargue and the Beaume valley , this land that has long remained secret. Passing through hamlets still inhabited, with their sturdy houses bordered by terraced fields, reminds us that we are in the heart of a living, wild, and welcoming natural environment .
