For our last hike on La Gomera, we trek through an arid landscape, near an old village and the distinctive El Sombrero rock. Then, we descend gradually into the Barranco El Cabrito ravine, with its steep walls and a magnificent promontory worthy of the greatest Westerns! For lunch, the secluded and austere Playa de la Guancha welcomes us for a swim (unsupervised) if we so desire. We are captivated by the majestic Mount Teide rising before us, watching over San Sebastian de La Gomera, our destination.
At the end of the day, we take the ferry back to Tenerife for our last night. Dinner at your leisure in the small resort of El Médano and overnight stay in a hotel.
