After breakfast, we depart for a long day's transfer to Odzala-Kokoua National Park. This leg of the journey marks a gradual transition from open landscapes to dense equatorial rainforest. As the kilometers pass, the vegetation becomes thicker, the humidity more intense, and the atmosphere more immersive.

Arrival at the Imbalanga camp in the early afternoon. Settling into furnished tents, integrated into the forest environment while offering essential comforts. After a rest, first observation experience from the camp's lookout tower, which overlooks a natural clearing frequented by wildlife.

Depending on the conditions and the season, it is possible to spot forest elephants, buffalo, or other species. Sightings remain unpredictable, but every moment spent observing and listening to the forest is part of the experience.

Wake up in the heart of the forest to the first sounds of nature. After breakfast, depart for the Moba Pool bai, a wetland clearing where wildlife comes to drink. Settle into the observation tower for a peaceful wildlife viewing session. Patience is key, as each appearance is unpredictable but always memorable.

The day continues with a walk in the forest accompanied by an eco-guide, who shares his knowledge of local biodiversity: medicinal plants, animal tracks, interactions between species.

In the afternoon, we'll board a dugout canoe for a trip on the Mambili and Lokoué rivers. This more contemplative experience offers a different perspective of the forest, as we drift along the water. We'll settle into the Moba Beach camp at the end of the day.

Next, we set off on a hike along the forest trails, searching for signs of the presence of gorillas and other species: footprints, food remains, traces in the vegetation.

The guide shares tracking techniques and appropriate behavior in the wild. The journey progresses at a comfortable pace, alternating between walking, breaks, and periods of observation.

Return to camp in the afternoon, free time to rest or enjoy the natural surroundings.

An early start to reach Bomassa, then the beginning of a hike of approximately 5 km towards Wali Bai. The trail crosses a dense forest, offering an immersive experience in the heart of the equatorial vegetation.

Upon arrival, you'll discover this vast natural clearing, a true meeting point for numerous species. Settle into the observation tower, allowing for discreet and respectful observation.

The rest of the day is devoted to observation and contemplation. Animal sightings depend on the timing and conditions, reinforcing the unique nature of the experience.

After breakfast, we set off for a more challenging day. We returned to Bomassa, then hiked for about three hours towards Mondika. The terrain became more technical, with dense vegetation and significant humidity.

Accompanied by experienced trackers, you will set off in search of gorillas in the primary forest. This activity requires patience, attentiveness, and adaptability.

When conditions allow, an encounter with gorillas is a rare and intense experience. It takes place in strict compliance with safety and conservation rules.

A full day dedicated to exploring the forest around Mondika. Another tracking outing, with a different approach depending on the movements of the gorilla groups and the terrain conditions.

After several days in the forest, we walked back to Bomassa (approximately 3 hours). This walk marked a gradual transition between immersion in the wilderness and a return to local life.

Upon arrival, explore the village and meet the inhabitants. Exchanges about lifestyle, traditions and the link between the communities and the surrounding forest.

Accommodation in a hostel, offering simple but welcome comfort after nights spent camping. Free time at the end of the day to relax.

The final day begins with an early departure to Brazzaville. This long journey allows for a gradual return to more populated areas.
