    🚌 We leave the Kathmandu Valley and take a tourist bus to Chitwan National Park . Leaving the Kathmandu Valley at the Thankot Pass (1400m), you get your first glimpse of the Ganesh Himal (7400m), Langtang (7200m), and Manaslu (8163m) mountain ranges. Passing through several valleys and following the Trishuli River, the mountains disappear, giving way to a vast, flat landscape with a different natural setting. After checking into our hotel, we explore the nearby villages. We also walk back to the hotel, observing the lifestyle of the local ethnic Tharu people. In the evening, we attend a cultural performance where local artists perform stick dances.
