7-day trip departing from Marrakech: Moroccan desert and valley

Departure at 8:00 am after a good breakfast in Marrakech.

Crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with several scenic stops along the way.

Continue towards Ouarzazate , then the Drâa valley .

Lunch on your own along the way.

Arrival at the end of the day at the gates of the desert and meeting with the nomadic team who will accompany you during the hike.

Setting up camp at the edge of the desert, dinner and evening around the fire.

After breakfast, depart with your team of camel drivers and your guide for a trek in the desert, following in the footsteps of nomads and ancient caravans.

Approximately 2.5 hours of walking through the dunes, followed by a lunch break with a meal prepared on site by your team. There is also the option to participate in a preparation and sharing session.

In the afternoon, we resumed walking for about 2.5 hours , in order to reach the location of the nomadic bivouac.

Setting up the private camp in the heart of the dunes and watching the sunset over the desert.

In the evening, a time for sharing around the preparation of sand bread , mint tea over the fire, and nomadic songs under the stars.

Dinner and overnight stay in a tent, with stargazing in the silence of the desert.

After breakfast, we set off on our trek with our caravan.

The desert unfolds before you: dry valleys, ergs and regs follow one another, offering increasingly immersive landscapes as you walk. In the distance, the Kraab range, known for its fossils and its importance in the history of nomads, appears on the horizon.

Setting up camp, tea ritual and lunch in the heart of the dunes, in the shade of a tamarisk tree.

The afternoon is devoted to relaxation as well as a walk in the dunes until sunset over the sandy peaks.

Dinner around the fire, with tasting of dishes prepared by our cook.

Spend the night under the stars in the dunes or in a tent. A mattress and blanket are provided.

After a gentle awakening and a good breakfast, we gradually progress into the heart of the desert towards Erg Zmila.

As you walk, the vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the landscapes change every day. Even the color of the sand evolves, offering a constantly different experience.

Around 1:30 pm, we set up camp with the ritual of mint tea and lunch in the tent, sheltered from the sun.

The afternoon is spent setting up camp, followed by a climb to the top of the dunes to admire the sunset.

In the evening, dinner around the fire, punctuated by stories and moments of sharing with the nomads.

After breakfast, we'll depart for an approximately 3-hour walk north towards the desert and the M'Hamid palm grove. You'll enjoy the Saharan landscapes and the crossing of the Drâa Valley.

Return to the village, then transfer by 4x4 and lunch on site.

Afternoon to Marrakech or Ouarzazate, overnight hotel.

Breakfast, then depending on the time of your flight, we will arrange your transfer to the airport.
