The golf courses are beautiful and varied, the instructor was effective, and the formula works well, combining practice and rounds. I ended up having private lessons all to myself for the week, which was great—the organization was smooth, getting around by car was easy, and the days were full. However, the Sol Marbella hotel, which is a very large complex, wasn't right for me: too big for my taste. The advantage is that it has two large swimming pools by the sea, which can be very pleasant. However, in January, the weather was too cool to enjoy them (an average of 22°C, but 10°C in the mornings and evenings). Furthermore, the food, and therefore the half-board option, wasn't very good. Again, traveling alone, a meal plan with just breakfast would have been sufficient. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this stay; I had a wonderful time on some magnificent courses – a real treat for golf enthusiasts!
