Avoid at all costs. Decathlon's solid reputation for value for money is tarnished by DecatTravel, which here turns it into a sham. The instructor was friendly and competent and did what he could to fill in the gaps in our knowledge, but for us, it wasn't enough. Not by a long shot. One example: the promised free practice balls. Perhaps they should have mentioned that you have to pick them up and clean them yourself! Another: the course is a nightmare. The first nine holes are practically inaccessible without a golf cart, or at the very least an electric trolley. But the golf cart costs an extra €35 per day. Of the four days we had access to the course (three in reality, since on the last day we had to vacate our room and find somewhere else), one day the course was inaccessible until 2 pm due to a competition. No alternative was offered.

The stay was spoiled by bad weather which prevented us from enjoying the golf itself (2 out of 3 GFs were used, one of which was only 9 holes) and all the workshops of the pro who, otherwise, was excellent and did everything to adapt.
An interesting route, very mountainous on the way out, with long sections and steep climbs. The return was more conventional, but still relatively difficult. Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from fully appreciating its dimensions...
The clubhouse restaurant is fine for dinner but seems to discover the demands of golfers at lunchtime, no decent sandwiches available.
Nice hotel, very quiet, breakfast OK. Easy parking at this time of year.
Note that the restaurant is in the clubhouse, a 200-300m walk away. The path is poorly lit. The staff generally only speak Portuguese and are somewhat distant, with the exception of a lady in the pro shop who is perfectly fluent in French and very kind.
