Please contact the accommodation after receiving your travel documents (approximately two weeks before arrival). • If you require a parking space in Val Thorens, you must reserve it as soon as possible (at least 2 weeks before your departure) on 'Valthoparc'.

  1. Step 1: Take a train (TGV Inoui or Ouigo) to Moûtiers - Salins - Brides-les-Bains station (allow approximately 4h30 to 5h direct journey or with connection from Paris Gare de Lyon, or approximately 2h15 from Lyon Part-Dieu).
  2. Step 2: From the Moûtiers bus station (next to the SNCF train station):
  3. By bus / shuttle: Take the Cars Région S63 bus line (or Altibus shuttles) to the Val Thorens bus station.
  4. Duration: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
  5. Price: Approximately €12.50 one way for an adult.
  6. By taxi / private hire vehicle: Allow approximately 40 to 50 minutes for the journey.
  7. Price: Expect to pay around €110 for 1 to 4 people.

🚗 By car

  1. From Paris (approximately 6.5 to 7 hours drive - 660 km) :
  2. Take the A6 motorway then the A43 towards Chambéry / Albertville.
  3. Continue on the N90 (2x2 lanes) to Moûtiers, then take the valley road up the D117 which leads directly to Val Thorens.
  4. From Lyon (approximately 2h30 to 2h45 drive - 200 km) :
  5. Take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry / Albertville.
  6. Join the N90 to Moûtiers, then follow the D117 towards Val Thorens.
🅿️ Parking in Val Thorens:
  1. Semi-pedestrian parking (paid): During the winter season, on-street parking is prohibited. Booking a covered or uncovered space managed by Valthoparc (P0, P1, P2) is strongly recommended (expect to pay around €70 to €95 per week).
  2. Free all-day parking: Parking P5 (open-air, located 4 km downhill from the centre) is a free all-day parking lot. It provides direct access to the ticket offices and the ski area via the lifts. (During the summer season, all parking in the resort becomes free).
