The Résidence Le Rond Point des Pistes is located at the foot of the slopes and opposite the Le Marquis chairlift. It is therefore possible to ski directly to the residence. The center of St. François Longchamp is approximately 800 meters away. Amenities include a reception area, a children's play area, a ski storage room, Wi-Fi (sometimes at an extra charge), and parking (subject to availability). Meals are not provided.

Access from the train station to the residence:

  1. On foot: Strongly discouraged (15 km mountain route with over 1,100 m of positive elevation gain).
  2. By bus/shuttle: Take the regular Cars Région Savoie S30 line (operated by Altibus during the winter and summer seasons) departing from the station forecourt. The journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The fare is around €8.50 one way per person (around €15 return). Once in the resort, free ski shuttle buses provide service between the different areas.
  3. By taxi: Several local taxi companies operate from Saint-Avre train station. The journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Expect to pay between €40 and €80 depending on the time of day (day or night rate), the day of the week, and the weather conditions.
Access by car
Travel to the place of stay with parking available
  1. From Paris (approximately 6.5 hours by car / 640 km): Take the A6 motorway towards Lyon, then join the A43 towards Chambéry and the Maurienne valley. Take exit 26 "La Chambre / Saint-François-Longchamp", then follow the D213 uphill for approximately 15 km to Saint-François-Longchamp 1650 and the residence.
  2. From Lyon (approximately 2 to 2.25 hours by car / 185 km): Take the A43 motorway towards Chambéry/Turin, continue through the Maurienne valley to exit 26 "La Chambre", then take the D213 to the resort. (Reminder: during the winter period from November 1st to March 31st, the Mountain Law requires approved all-season/winter tires or the presence of snow chains/snow socks in the vehicle).
