Ideally located 750 meters from the town center and ski lifts, this rustic hotel provides ski-in/ski-out access with a slope right at the doorstep , a beginner ski lift, and cross-country skiing just 150 meters away. Shuttle buses stop 50 meters from the hotel for your convenience.

If you booked your equipment through us, the ski rental shop is located in Sass-Fee (approx. 4 km). • When booking rooms with multiple beds or rooms with extra beds, the extra beds are not available in case of under-occupancy. • This accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Location: The "Bärgsunnu" accommodation is a rustic 3-star hotel located approximately 750 meters from the center of Saas-Grund, at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters above sea level. The ski area is accessible via the "Saas-Grund" ski lift, also 750 meters away. Downhill skiers will find the nearest slope practically on the doorstep. There is also a beginner ski lift. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails approximately 150 meters away. Ski buses stop approximately 50 meters from the hotel. Amenities: The accommodation includes a reception area, a lobby, Wi-Fi access, a lounge, an elevator, a breakfast room, its own restaurant, and its own bar. You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room. On-site parking is also available, subject to availability. Children: The children's playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger children. High chairs and cots are available (upon request and subject to availability). Entertainment: Guests can play table tennis. Board games are available free of charge (subject to availability). Dining: The half-board package includes a buffet breakfast. In the evening, a four-course menu is served. A Christmas dinner is offered (December 24th), and a New Year's Eve dinner is also provided.

Take a train (SBB or TGV Lyria from France) to Visp station.

  1. From Paris : allow approximately 5.5 to 6 hours of travel time with a connection in Geneva or Lausanne.
  2. From the train station to your accommodation : At Visp train station, take the PostBus ( Postal bus line 511 towards Saas-Fee). The bus goes directly to the valley and stops at Saas-Grund (the journey takes approximately 40 to 45 minutes, buses run every 30 minutes, and a one-way fare costs approximately CHF 15 to 20). Depending on the location of your accommodation in the village, you can then walk there from one of the bus stops (e.g., Saas-Grund, Bergbahnen or Saas-Grund, Post ), or take a local taxi for the remaining few minutes (approximately CHF 20 to 35).
