    Enjoy a stay with a ski pass included in the heart of Saas-Almagell at the Wellness-Hotel Christiania Residence. Ideally located near the ski lifts and the first shops, this residence offers you privileged access to the ski area.

Note

Children are not permitted in the fitness room. Access to the wellness area is permitted for those aged 12 and over, and only when accompanied by an adult. If you have booked equipment through us, the ski rental shop is located in Sass-Fee (approx. 7 km). When booking rooms with multiple beds or rooms with extra beds, the extra beds are not guaranteed in case of under-occupancy. This accommodation is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Location: The "Wellness-Hotel Christiania" is a cozy 3-star hotel located approximately 180 meters from the center of Saas-Almagell, at an altitude of approximately 1,676 meters above sea level. The center of Saas-Fee is approximately 7 kilometers away. The ski area is accessible via the "Saas-Almagell" ski lift, located approximately 450 meters away, or via the "Saas-Fee Chalbermatten" ski lift, approximately 3.7 kilometers away. Downhill skiers will find the nearest slope practically on the doorstep. Ski buses stop approximately 100 meters from the hotel. Visp train station is approximately 26.6 kilometers away. The nearest cafes and restaurants are approximately 180 meters away. Amenities: The tastefully furnished accommodation includes a reception area, Wi-Fi access, a library, a lounge, an elevator, a breakfast room, and its own restaurant. You can store your ski equipment in the ski/snowboard room with boot dryers. On-site parking and an electric vehicle charging station are also available (at an extra cost) – subject to availability. Wellness: The approximately 180 m² wellness area invites you to relax. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, a jacuzzi, a Turkish bath, and a sensory shower. You can also unwind in the relaxation room. Massages are available at an extra cost. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Children: The children's playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests. High chairs and cots are available upon request and subject to availability. Entertainment: The accommodation features a foosball table. Guests can also enjoy the fitness room and play table tennis. Dining: The half-board package includes a generous buffet breakfast. In the evening, you will be served a 5-course menu.

From Visp station, take the Postal bus (CarPostal line 511 towards Saas-Fee, then transfer or direct line depending on the timetable to Saas-Almagell).

  1. Bus: Approximately 45 to 50 minutes journey to the Saas-Almagell, Dorfplatz stop (expect to pay approximately 5 to 12 CHF / 5 to 12 € per journey depending on the card/discount).
  2. Taxi: Allow approximately 30 to 35 minutes for the journey (approximately 120 to 160 CHF / 120 to 160 € per trip).
  3. On foot: Depending on the location of your accommodation in the village, a few minutes' walk is all it takes from the main bus stop.
