The modern, four-star Alpen Resort is located approximately 200 meters from the center of Zermatt, just 300 meters from the Gornergratbahn ski lift and about 200 meters from the train station. A ski bus stop is only 50 meters away. The hotel comprises three interconnected buildings. Amenities at this first-class hotel include a reception area with a lobby, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a restaurant, a bar, a 300-square-meter children's play area, table football, and ski storage. Guests can use the 1,000-square-meter wellness area, which features an indoor pool, steam room, Finnish sauna, two relaxation rooms, an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, and a fitness room, free of charge. Massages are available for an additional fee. Since car traffic is prohibited in Zermatt, parking is available in Täsch (at an extra charge), and you can reach Zermatt by shuttle train (approx. 12-minute journey). You can also use the public parking lot (at an extra charge) in Täsch or the parking spaces with charging stations at the Matterhorn Inn (at an extra charge). In addition, a private shuttle service is available in Zermatt upon prior arrangement to take you to Zermatt train station or to the hotel. The comfortable rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a bathtub or shower and toilet, a TV, a telephone, Wi-Fi, a minibar (at an extra charge), a safe, a hairdryer, and sometimes a balcony. You will be accommodated either in the main building or in one of the two annex buildings. Meals: The price of the trip includes, depending on the type of room or meal plan booked, either breakfast or half-board PLUS with a generous buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and pastries, and a choice of 5 courses. All meals are served in the main building.
