To reach the different resorts of Les Arcs from the train station:

  1. By Funicular (Bourg-Saint-Maurice ➔ Arc 1600): Directly connected to the station via a footbridge, the funicular takes you up to Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes .
  2. Price: In winter, a one-way ticket costs €3 (€2.50 for children) or a return ticket costs €5 (often included with a valid ski pass or certain train tickets). In summer, the funicular is generally free for pedestrians.
  3. Free shuttle buses (inter-station): Once you arrive at Arc 1600 via the funicular, free inter-station shuttle buses regularly serve Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.
  4. By Bus (Cars Région / Altibus): Coach services depart from the Bourg-Saint-Maurice bus station to all the resorts of Les Arcs (approximately 30 to 45 minutes journey time depending on the mountain village).
  5. By Taxi / Private Hire Vehicle: A taxi rank is located in front of Bourg-Saint-Maurice station (expect to pay between €40 and €80 depending on the destination village and the time).
