Kamal is a key figure in the Essaouira kitesurfing scene. With over 10 years of experience at Morocco's most renowned spots, he has shared his love of kitesurfing with hundreds of students from around the world, thanks to a teaching style that combines passion, high standards, and a supportive approach. Trained in Dakhla by a former world windsurfing champion, he mentored coaches there for eight years before founding his own school in Essaouira.
What sets him apart? A rigorous approach, centered on safety, personalized progression, and respect for the ocean. Kamal never compromises on conditions: He knows how to read the spot, anticipate changes, and choose the ideal windows to ensure each outing is smooth, engaging, and controlled. A true pro, committed, generous, and 100% focused on the quality of the experience.
Kamal leaves nothing to chance. He has been a certified instructor for several years and teaches kitesurfing with passion. He is very rigorous and prioritizes safety over improvisation. Consequently, he will not let you go out on the water if the conditions are not right and if your safety is not guaranteed.

In the afternoon, head to Mils Beach (a short walk from the riad), or another nearby spot if conditions aren't ideal at Mils Beach, for your first Wingfoil lesson with professional instructors. In the evening, you can dine in one of the many restaurants in Essaouira's Medina (not included in the stay). Don't hesitate to ask the manager of Riad La Tempérance for recommendations; they can suggest an excellent establishment. In the late afternoon, head to Mils Beach (a short walk from the riad), or another nearby spot if conditions aren't ideal at Mils Beach, for your third Wingfoil lesson with professional instructors.
