The program includes 10 surf sessions and 2 free half-days.
Free half-days will be chosen according to surf conditions and the energy level of the group.
The schedules are adjusted to those of the tides, as the wave conditions depend on them.
It's therefore possible to leave earlier or later, or even to have a session at sunrise or sunset. Ideally, there will be a session in the morning, a lunch break, and then another session in the afternoon. Sometimes the two sessions can be combined with a sandwich on the beach.
Example of a typical day:
- Morning: Breakfast and surfing lesson
You start your day with breakfast (8:30 to 9:30 am) overlooking the ocean, then your instructor will brief you on the wave conditions and the different organizational options. At 9:30 am, you'll head to the surf spot. When the conditions are good, you'll surf right at the foot of the residence.
On the beach, you'll start by observing the conditions with your instructor: where the peak is located, what the currents are, and what the best route is to position yourself. You'll review the techniques to perfect: paddling, duck dives to get through the whitewater, and your standing position for efficient surfing. While technique is an important area for improvement, you'll also cover everything related to water safety (currents, maintaining safe distances, etc.).
- Lunch: rest and meal
Return to the hotel at midday for a home-style lunch and a break to take a nap or relax by the pool.
- Afternoon: surfing lessons
In the afternoon, you'll return to the water for the second session, further solidifying your progress. By the end of the week, you'll be more independent in your chosen area. We'll return to the center around 4-5 pm, leaving some time after showering to enjoy the pool or visit the small village of Taghazout, before everyone gathers for drinks and dinner.
During your free half-days, which will be positioned either in the middle of the week or on the least interesting day in terms of waves, you can visit the souk of Agadir, pamper yourself with a hammam or a massage, stroll through the alleys of Taghazout and drink a smoothie, or simply let time flow by the pool.
