Head to Arches National Park. As its name suggests, this park is a haven for natural sandstone arches: it boasts nearly 2,000 of them! Go in search of them. Stop at The Windows, two arches side by side, and the fantastic Double Arch.
Several hikes are possible. One of them takes you to the magnificent Delicate Arch, a symbol of the state of Utah (approx. 5 km). Another will lead you to Devil's Garden and its eight arches, including the longest in the world (8 km).
Then set off to explore the 2nd National Park in the vicinity of Moab: Canyonlands.
Begin your exploration in the Island in the Sky district, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of canyons and mesas. Don't miss iconic viewpoints such as Grand View Point, Green River Overlook, and Mesa Arch. You can also hike trails like Upheaval Dome and Aztec Butte to discover their fascinating geological formations.
Canyonlands National Park is traversed by the Colorado River, which offers incredible rafting opportunities. You can take a rafting trip through the canyons and rapids for an unforgettable experience. Be sure to book your trip in advance and check water levels and navigation conditions.
