Sports and cultural discoveries in Lumbarda, Croatia

In the morning, you'll explore the village of Lumbarda, its main square, shops, coves, and beaches. For lunch, head to a small local restaurant, enjoying fresh fish or ćevapi (a traditional Balkan dish). The afternoon is free, allowing you to sunbathe by the pool or explore the surrounding area. In the evening, a welcome drink will be the perfect opportunity to get to know the rest of the group.

A full-day hike awaits you. On a 12 or 17km circuit (the route is chosen based on the heat to prioritize shaded areas), you'll explore the inland countryside, winding through vineyards and olive groves. Lunch is served at a local inn overlooking the sea. Vegetables, food, drinks... everything is locally sourced. You then continue your hike to a stunning, wild, and unspoiled cove on the south coast. After a refreshing swim, the return trip by minibus, and the evening wine tasting, awaits you. Nestled among the vineyards in the island's hills, you'll dine at a local winery.

After a free morning and lunch at a traditional restaurant, we'll head to Korcula. With a specialized French-speaking guide, you'll discover the historic fortified town of Marco Polo during a one-hour tour. Afterwards, you can continue exploring on your own and enjoy the surroundings, perhaps strolling, having a coffee on a terrace, or doing some shopping. We'll return to the town center in the late afternoon, and the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Departing by boat, you'll reach Mljet National Park, one of Croatia's most beautiful. On foot, you'll explore this still largely unspoiled island, with its forests, saltwater lake, and the island of Santa Maria. In the heart of this natural paradise, you'll enjoy a picnic and soak up the tranquility. After a swim in its turquoise waters, you'll board the boat again, heading towards Lumbarda. In the evening, the group will meet at a restaurant in Korčula, with a view overlooking the town. Several buses will be available to take you back to the center at your desired time.

During this free day, several options are available to you:

1. A relaxing day, you can unwind at the hotel pool or at the nearby beach.
2. As an optional excursion, we'll take you by boat and then on foot to the summit of the Peljesac peninsula for breathtaking panoramic views of the archipelago. This will also be an opportunity to explore and have lunch in the town of Orebic.
3. On your own, you can rent bicycles to explore the coast, a boat to navigate between the islands or a car to drive to the different bays of the island.

Let's set off for a day of island hopping by kayak. Among the islands you'll stop at, Badija is famous for its ancient monastery. You'll have a picnic on one of the islands, and why not take the opportunity to do some snorkeling?
