In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset dhow cruise or admire the incredible colors on the canal from the veranda of your private banda. Dinner showcases local ingredients and produce from community farms. This day is entirely dedicated to relaxation before your sailing adventure begins.

After a leisurely breakfast, pack a small bag for the sailing portion of the trip (your main luggage will remain safely in Kizingo). You will be transferred by boat to reach the Flipflopi Ndogo in the waters off Lamu. This colorful and unique dhow is constructed almost entirely from recycled plastic collected from the beaches and communities of the archipelago—a powerful symbol of innovation and environmental stewardship championed by the Flipflopi project.
