Departing from Porto-Vecchio , experience a 5-day, 4-night immersion aboard a comfortable catamaran , designed to improve your sailing skills and gain independence. This course is for beginner to intermediate sailors wishing to solidify their fundamentals and structure their practice.

Guided by a certified FFVoile instructor , you will review the skills acquired at levels 1 and 2 while developing essential cruise preparation skills. The program includes: weather reading , chart work , GPS use, onboard safety management, and navigation planning.

This training also emphasizes essential technical aspects, with an introduction to engine mechanics and rigging , to better understand and anticipate risks at sea. Through personalized instruction , you will develop your confidence and decision-making skills as a future skipper .

    Matthieu will welcome you from 9am along with the other participants.

    After the introductions are made, you will go provisioning with him for the 5 days of sailing.

    Provisioning is a key point in the proper preparation for a voyage, both in terms of quantities and the essential things we need to be self-sufficient during these 5 days.

    Following this, you will depart from the port of Porto-vecchio for your first day where the first points of navigation, port maneuvers and the various pre-departure check-ups will be covered.

    The first night will be spent in a sheltered anchorage not far from the starting point; it will be determined according to the weather (wind, swell, etc.), for example Saint-Cyprien, Pinarello, Santa Giulia...
