Solo traveler: group snorkeling in Egypt

A superb experience. A very responsive and friendly ***** team. All-inclusive hotel. Varied but fairly ordinary food. You don't come here for fine dining, and that's perfectly fine. One section of the hotel where the rooms are so-so. I had to ask to change rooms because of a foul odor. On the third night, I got a very nice room with a terrace. Direct access to the sea with some beautiful specimens just a few meters from the shore. On the boat: a very comfortable vessel, allowing for both communal living and quiet moments, perfect for a nap or relaxing in the sun. A very friendly group and attentive, kind, and caring staff. Superb atmosphere! Professionalism and trustworthiness. Breathtaking seascapes. Delicious meals. Everything is done to ensure everything runs smoothly. The introductory scuba dive was very safe. A big thank you to Momo, Emad, and Delphine for these five wonderful days on the boat.

It was a fantastic week of snorkeling. Lolotte and Mahmoud were our guides, true pros. As a beginner and a bit unsure of myself, I felt completely relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic sites chosen by the agency. The entire crew was lovely, helpful, and very professional. Customer Review – Solo Snorkeling Trip to Egypt – Decathlon Travel (HURGHADA) I booked a snorkeling trip to Egypt with Decathlon Travel and I want to express my deep disappointment. Several advertised services were either not provided or only partially provided, without any financial compensation. I was strongly encouraged to take a diving course that was neither planned nor suited to my expectations or skill level. The program was changed on-site without any real explanation. The lack of transparency regarding insurance and liability between Decathlon Travel and their local partner is shocking: each party passes the buck when it comes to reimbursing the unprovided services, even though I booked and paid for the trip directly through Decathlon Travel. Finally, I must report the alarming experience of another participant who suffered pain and a nosebleed during an introductory dive, despite informing the instructor of her discomfort, without receiving any appropriate response. I sincerely regret this trip and the lack of serious consideration given to customer feedback. For a brand like Decathlon, I expected more rigor and professionalism.
