The traditional 4-star Alpen Wohlfühlhôtel Dörflwirt is situated on a sunny plateau, directly at the Gerlosstein cable car valley station in Hainzenberg, approximately 5 km from the center of Zell am Ziller. When snow conditions are good, it is possible to ski directly to the hotel. A ski bus stop and a natural toboggan run (at an additional cost) are located directly in front of the hotel. This pleasantly furnished hotel features a reception area, a lobby with a fireplace, an elevator, a breakfast and lounge room, a bar, a restaurant, a lounge, a ping-pong table, Wi-Fi access, and a heated ski and boot room. A bowling alley is available for an additional fee. An indoor playground is available for children. Free parking is also available, subject to availability. An electric vehicle charging station is available for an additional fee. The wellness area includes an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna, a textile sauna, an infrared cabin, a steam room, and a fitness room. Half-board, included in the trip price, comprises a buffet breakfast with regional products and a 5-course dinner. From Zell am Ziller train station, you can reach the hotel:

  1. By bus: take the regional bus line (e.g., line 4094) from the train station to the Hainzenberg Gerlossteinbahn stop. The stop is about 50 meters from the hotel (the journey takes about 15 minutes and costs between €3 and €5 per ticket).
  2. By taxi: allow approximately 6 to 10 minutes to get to the hotel (between €15 and €25 depending on the company).

  1. From Paris (approximately 10 hours by car / ~950 km): Take the A4 motorway towards Strasbourg, then cross Germany via the A8 towards Munich, then the A93 towards Kufstein/Innsbruck. Next, take the A12 motorway (Inntal Autobahn) into Austria, exit at Zillertal (exit 39) and follow the B169 to Zell am Ziller. Finally, take the B165 (Gerlosstraße) which climbs towards Hainzenberg for approximately 4 km. (Requires an Austrian motorway vignette).
  2. From Innsbruck (approximately 50 minutes / ~60 km): Take the A12 motorway east, take the Zillertal exit, then the B169 to Zell am Ziller and then the B165 towards Hainzenberg.
  3. From Munich (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes / ~140 km): Take the A8 then the A93 towards Austria, then join the B169 and the B165 to Hainzenberg.
