Scuba diving
You have already dived to a depth of 20 meters with an instructor. You hold a Level 1, CMAS 1, or Open Water Diver (PADI or SSI) certification.
The expert's opinion
This training is accessible to divers holding the PADI Open Water Diver certification (or an equivalent certification issued by another recognized organization).
No prior experience is necessary: you can begin your Advanced Open Water Diver course as soon as you obtain your Open Water certification. This training is specifically designed to help you gain experience, confidence, and independence through supervised dives tailored to your skill level.
To participate, you will also need to be in possession of a valid medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to scuba diving .

Your training is led by certified or state-qualified instructors , who are also PADI instructors , recognized for their expertise and teaching skills. To guarantee high-quality learning , practical sessions take place in small groups, with a maximum of four students per instructor . This organization allows for personalized attention , a more comfortable learning environment, and optimal safety throughout your training.

Your Advanced Open Water course begins with two essential adventure dives. The first is dedicated to perfecting buoyancy control , a crucial skill for improving your comfort underwater, reducing your air consumption, and moving more easily within the marine environment.
During the second dive, you will discover deep diving . Accompanied by your instructor, you will learn to understand the specifics of dives beyond the depths usually practiced in Open Water, while respecting the appropriate safety rules.

Orientation and use of the dive computer

This second day is dedicated to acquiring new technical skills. You will carry out an underwater orientation dive, during which you will learn to navigate effectively using your environment and a compass.
You will also complete a dive focused on the use of a dive computer . This essential equipment will allow you to better understand the management of your dive profile, dive time, and safety parameters.
Day 2 -
Introduction to Nitrox and certification

To complete your training, you will discover the basics of Nitrox diving, an oxygen-enriched mixture used by many divers worldwide. This adventure dive will allow you to understand the advantages, precautions for use, and fundamental principles related to this type of gas.
At the end of these three days of training and after successful completion of the various adventure dives, your instructor will award you your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification . You will then be able to dive to a depth of 30 meters and continue your progression towards new specialties.

Accommodation

Your accommodation is included for 2 nights and is located less than 500 meters from the beach , with access to the coves in less than 10 minutes . Ideally situated, it allows you to fully enjoy your stay between relaxation and water sports.
The center has many facilities for your comfort: a 50-seat dining room , a 40-seat outdoor terrace , a 400 m² courtyard and a jacuzzi , perfect for relaxing after a day of diving.

From the station, it takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes by car or public transport to reach the Port de la Pointe Rouge. Metro and bus lines also provide easy access to the diving center.
