From beginner to advanced (PADI Level 2) in Phuket

This is the big day: you're about to step into the shoes of a diver. In the morning, after a good breakfast, meet us at 8:00 AM at our dive center in Patong Beach. From there, we'll take you to the training pool, about a 20-minute walk away. Your instructor will be waiting for you. They'll review the theory you've already covered and show you how to attach your equipment to the tank. They'll then explain the exercises on the program, and it will be time to practice them in the pool. You'll start with a practical session of static exercises at a very shallow depth. Learning how to use your buoyancy compensator, clear your mask, or share air with a buddy who's running low on air: these simulations will allow you to experience different scenarios and gain confidence. Then progress to the deeper section for further exercises (practice buoyancy, air supply situations, etc.). Activities end around 3-4pm and we will take you back to our dive center in Patong.

We'll pick you up from your hotel from 7:00 AM. We'll head to Chalong Port, where the boats depart for the Racha Islands, a 2-hour boat trip south of Phuket. After breakfast on board, you'll load your equipment onto the tanks. Your instructor will give you a briefing before each dive. About fifteen minutes before arriving at the dive site, it will be time to get geared up. Then it's time to enter the water. After a few surface and underwater exercises, the instructor will take you for a dive, and you'll follow along. After the first dive, a buffet lunch will be served. The boat will then move to the site for the second dive. The same procedure will be repeated for the second dive. The boat will then return towards Phuket and make a stop for the third dive in the mid-afternoon at Racha Yai. Finally, it's back to the marina. A snack will be served on the way back. We'll then take you back to the hotel, where you can enjoy your evening and share your discoveries with the other divers. And tomorrow? We do it all again. Today, we're heading to the Phi Phi Islands, east of Phuket. You'll dive twice in the National Park and have the opportunity to see plenty of schools of fish and wonderful colorful corals, and if you're lucky, blacktip reef sharks and turtles! You'll dive to a depth of 18 meters with your instructor. After the first dive, you'll officially be an Open Water Diver and will enjoy two additional dives to explore the underwater world and gain even more confidence.

You're tackling the Advanced level on Racha Noi & Yai. The course includes 5 training dives, "Adventure" dives. The program includes underwater navigation dives, buoyancy control dives, and possibly a wreck dive.

Day 6, the final day of the Advanced course. Deep dive, drift dive, or fish identification dive. Depending on the day, the destination will be either the Phi Phi Islands, the King Cruiser wreck, Shark Point, or Koh Doc Mai.

A free day in your program to do as you please. Beach, Thai massage, shopping, etc. Or take advantage of one of the excursions offered: Elephant Sanctuary where you will learn about the history of Asian elephants, how to feed them and enjoy swimming and mud baths, or a discovery of the island (Big Buddha, Chalong temple, photos with elephants, tigers, cashew nut factory, Phuket Old Town… These excursions last a good half-day, in the morning or afternoon.

Your room must be vacated by noon, but you can leave your luggage at reception if your flight is later. Your driver will pick you up three hours before your flight time to take you to Phuket Airport to continue your stay in Thailand, or to catch your return flight to mainland France.
