    This first day allows you to get to grips with the sailboat and learn the basics of cruising. After a safety briefing and introductions to the crew, you'll discover the onboard organization: roles, how the equipment works, rules of conduct, and essential instructions.

    You quickly head out to sea to get hands-on experience. You learn basic maneuvers such as departing from and arriving in port, tacking, and gybing. You take the helm to maintain a stable course and learn simple sail adjustments based on the conditions. Particular attention is paid to understanding the wind and the different points of sail.

    This initial sailing session allows you to grasp the essential technical aspects while gaining independence. At the end of the day, a group debriefing session reinforces what you've learned and answers your questions before the rest of your stay.
