The discovery of sailing

Never having sailed or having little experience of sailing, whether cruising or on another type of vessel.


LEVEL 2

Basic knowledge

• Possess the basics of sailing a sailboat: know the maneuvers to perform to follow a course or change course, know how to orient oneself in relation to the wind.

• Having identified risky behaviors and conduct on a sailboat.

Having earned a BPJEPS sailing certificate for cruising up to 200 miles from shore and a Yachtmaster Offshore Tidal STCW 2010 certificate, I am pleased to accompany you during your stays in a friendly manner.

Management

Security

The safety of participants is ensured by the sports instructor, who is also the skipper. Specific risks to those on board are identified and mitigated, as well as those inherent to the maneuvers and the sailing itinerary. The itinerary will be adapted to changing weather conditions. The sailboat is equipped with the necessary first aid supplies; however, an email is sent to each participant before boarding, specifying that they should bring a first aid kit in their luggage.

    Your adventure begins at the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer at 10:00 AM. After meeting the crew and getting acquainted with the sailboat, you'll cast off towards Belle-Île. Depending on the conditions, you'll disembark at the port of Sauzon or Le Palais. This first sail offers the opportunity to admire the sculpted cliffs and wild beaches that have made the island famous. You'll enjoy the end of the day exploring the surrounding area on foot before spending your first night on board.
