Departing from Calvi or L'Île-Rousse , embark on a 5-day sailing course between Corsica and the mainland, designed to combine technical progression , discovery, and the pleasure of sailing. Head towards the most beautiful shores of Northern Corsica , before a semi-offshore " One-Way " crossing to Fréjus – Saint-Raphaël .
A highlight of the trip: a night sail with practical application of the fundamentals of offshore navigation . You actively participate in watches at the helm , maintaining the logbook and calculating dead reckoning , under the guidance of a qualified and experienced skipper .
After the crossing, you'll sail along the Var coast and stop at the legendary Îles d'Or : Porquerolles , Port-Cros , and Le Levant . Stops in Cavalaire-sur-Mer , Le Lavandou , and Hyères punctuate the cruise, offering a mix of lively ports and secluded anchorages.

You will be welcomed aboard for provisioning and settling into your new surroundings. We will take the time to introduce you to the boat, its equipment, and the essential safety procedures. We will carry out the usual pre-departure checks together to ensure a smooth sailing.
A comprehensive briefing will help you understand the onboard organization and key safety procedures. You will then learn the basics of navigation: reading instruments, assigning roles, and communicating at sea.
We leave the harbor for our first sail in the bay or towards our destination for the day, depending on the conditions. You'll learn how to maintain a course, trim the sails, and heave to. This outing offers an opportunity to explore coastal navigation and observe the coastline from a new perspective.
At the end of the day, you set sail for Calvi and enter the bay. Arriving in port marks the end of this first day at sea, punctuated by maneuvers and discovering life on board.
Day 1 -

You begin with a theoretical course covering the basics of navigation and the organization of life on board. A comprehensive briefing will help you understand how night watches work, the distribution of roles, and the safety rules to be followed at sea.
You then move on to safety maneuvers to familiarize yourself with the boat and develop the right reflexes in real-life situations. The day continues with offshore sailing, punctuated by logbook entries and dead reckoning exercises, to learn how to accurately track your progress.
As night falls, you will participate in a night navigation exercise, taking turns on watch and organizing the night watch. This hands-on experience will allow you to familiarize yourself with navigational landmarks, lights, and crew management in the dark.
You finish this first stage with an arrival at the port of Lavandou, marking the end of a busy and educational day.
Days 2 to 3 -
Navigation to the Golden Islands

You leave the port of Le Lavandou heading towards Cavalaire, with a route passing by Port-Cros. A stopover is planned with an anchorage in the heart of the nature reserve, an opportunity to observe a preserved environment while applying best practices for site protection.
The crossing is followed by a full debriefing to analyze route choices, maneuver management, and onboard organization. You then continue with a theoretical lesson to deepen your understanding of the concepts covered at sea and better grasp the rules of navigation.
The day revolves around coastal navigation, ideal for practicing chart reading, anticipating traffic, and adapting to conditions. You'll also focus on sail trim and performance, adjusting sails and optimizing your course according to the wind.
You arrive at the port of Cavalaire at the end of the day, after a stage punctuated by practice, analysis and technical improvement.
Day 4 -
Navigation to Port Fréjus

You leave Cavalaire for a day of coastal sailing towards Fréjus, rounding the Lardier, Taillat and Camarat headlands. This varied route allows you to refine your understanding of the coastline, anticipate local effects and adapt your settings to changes in wind and current.
A stopover is planned with an anchorage behind Cap Taillat, in sheltered waters, for a lunch break. You can take advantage of this time to relax and enjoy a swim, while adhering to safety rules and respecting the environment.
The afternoon continues towards Fréjus, with further work on maneuvers and onboard coordination. Upon arrival, a general and individual debriefing allows for an analysis of each person's progress, a review of the technical points covered, and the identification of areas for improvement.
You finish this step with a clear view of your achievements and the skills developed throughout the navigation.
