Note

In winter, appropriate equipment is essential for your safety. It is crucial to have warm clothing (gloves, hats, jackets, etc.) as well as good, waterproof, high-top shoes.

Anyone not having the proper equipment on the day of the outing may be refused entry for safety reasons.

Walking times are calculated based on an average speed defined in the hike difficulty level guide. These are approximate times and do not include breaks. Of course, in winter, snow is an additional factor to consider. Experienced hikers on hard snow will find the times overestimated, while less experienced hikers on fresh snow will find them significantly underestimated. The itinerary may be slightly modified for safety reasons (snow, weather, participants' skill level) or for organizational reasons.
