A passionate surfer, Mohamed (or Momo), nephew of Hucine and Bohcine, approaches every session with a contagious smile and a sense of humor that instantly relaxes the atmosphere. Always ready to lend a hand, he doesn't hesitate to wax a board, carry boards to the spot, or offer enthusiastic encouragement from the lineup. His watchful eye quickly spots the slightest hesitation; a funny word or a technical gesture is all it takes to restore confidence to beginners and more experienced surfers alike. Out of the water, his cheerful presence enlivens meals and evenings, transforming every interaction into a convivial moment. A true extra pair of hands for the team, Mohamed embodies the warm and supportive spirit of the guesthouse.

Ayoub's kindness and positive energy make him a beloved coach at Azul Guesthouse.

Originally from the region, he grew up with his feet in the sand and his head in the waves.

A lifelong surfing enthusiast, he quickly distinguished himself through his perseverance, good humor, and keen eye.

Always attentive, Ayoub accompanies each student with patience and kindness — whether it's to stand up on their very first wave or perfect a take-off.

The safety of our participants is a priority.

Our surf lessons are led by qualified, experienced instructors who are perfectly familiar with the local spots.

Before each session, a briefing is held (weather conditions, wave operation, priority rules, etc.).

We adapt the groups according to each person's level to ensure safe progress.

The equipment is checked regularly and adapted to each profile (board, wetsuit, leash).

If needed, the team is available 24/7 on site to assist participants.

Other supervisors

Hucine and Bohcine have combined their talents to transform the family home in Tamraght into a "surf & chill" haven blending waves, relaxation and conviviality.

Hucine, the youngest, was a lifeguard and then a mechanical engineer before answering the call of the ocean. After several seasons of coaching, he wanted a place that reflected kindness, precision, and sharing. Patient and a natural teacher, he guides each student in French, English, Arabic, or Tamazight, helps them choose the perfect board, films the waves, and debriefs them on the sand with his huge smile.

Bohcine, an indefatigable jack-of-all-trades, oversees the logistics and the charm of the place. A former fisherman turned carpenter, he runs his workshop in Aourir where he sculpts furniture and doors adorned with Berber motifs.

They offer a warm and authentic welcome that brings travelers back season after season.

    You will be met at the airport in the morning or afternoon, followed by a 30-40 minute transfer to your accommodation. Are you arriving early or leaving later?

  1. It is perfectly possible to arrive before check-in time. If your room is not yet ready, you can settle into the guesthouse, relax on the rooftop, or go for a walk while you wait.
  2. Check-out is at 11am: if you are leaving later in the day, you can leave your belongings at the guesthouse and continue to enjoy the premises until your departure time.
