Arrival at L'Échaillon in the afternoon. Before dinner, we offer a welcome drink to introduce you to our house and its various services. Around 7:30 pm, there will be an information session with the instructors about the organization of your week's activities.

Day hikes to discover the magnificent site of the Upper Clarée Valley and its summer chalets buried under the snow, the very beautiful cirque of the Col de l'Échelle, or to enjoy the area marked out down to Lower Clarée.

Every day, our team of passionate instructors offers a selection of Nordic activities : cross-country skiing , snowshoeing , dog sledding , tobogganing , or even building snowmen . You can freely create your own program according to your preferences, for a single day or the entire week. Only the dog sledding activity is limited to a single introductory session.
CHILDREN
They too will be able to participate in several activities. For cross-country skiing, children aged 4 to 11 will be supervised by the Névache Ski School in group lessons according to their age and skill level. We will take care of driving them to and from the ski school. Children aged 4 to 6 will only go in the morning. In the afternoon, a young woman will look after them at the hotel or outside near the terrace where they can go sledding and build snowmen (included in the package). From age 7, they return to the Ski School in the afternoon for fun activities related to skiing (biathlon, ski hockey, etc.). Children aged 12 and over will participate in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with adults. For dog sledding, they will be accompanied by their parents. They can drive from age 12.
The dog sledding activity will take place on one of the first 2 days, morning or afternoon depending on the availability of the musher and the dogs.
The program for the stay is given as a guide and may be adapted according to weather conditions.

🏨 2-star hotel - Days 1 to 6
Located in the hamlet of Roubion, at the entrance to Névache, the hotel welcomes hikers, visitors, and vacationers alike, offering a refined mountain style with comfort and light . Close to the cross-country ski trails and just steps from the Clarée River, with its clear, pristine waters, the setting invites contemplative relaxation . In high season, the shuttle bus to the valley is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Guests can enjoy the hotel bar, its lounge area with a fireplace, and two outdoor terraces, one facing south and the other east. The hotel also offers a wellness area where you can unwind after a busy day! A drying room for wet or damp shoes and clothing is available on the garden level, with immediate access upon returning from activities. The food, prepared using local produce by our chef, is carefully prepared and suitable for athletes… our fresh mountain air whets the appetite and encourages tasting!

From Paris, you have several options:
- Either by arriving on the Italian side via the TGV PARIS-OULX. From this station you will need to take a direct bus to Briançon (tickets must be purchased 48 hours in advance on the SNCF website).
- Either take the train Paris / Grenoble + bus Grenoble / Briançon (ZOU line 55)
- Either arriving directly via Paris/Briançon, by night train or daytime trains
From Marseille or Valence, there are direct TER trains to Briançon.
To travel from Briançon to Névache:
- Either by regular shuttle (in season)
- Either by taxi or private transport depending on the schedule and the number of people

You can drive to the hotel, where there is a large parking lot. We'll keep this description brief, given that in this modern age, GPS is standard equipment in our cars and on our phones.
From the south, you go up the Durance valley to reach Briançon.
From the north and west, you can, like cyclists, take the Lautaret Pass and its spectacular views, or choose the comfort (and the price) of crossing into Italy via the Fréjus Tunnel, a road version of the ambitious railway project of the mid-18th century. Consider carpooling!
