After breakfast , you'll set off to discover the unmissable Petra , the legendary Rose City sculpted over 2,000 years ago by the Nabataeans . Guided in the morning by a French-speaking tour leader , you'll explore the wonders of this UNESCO World Heritage site: the majestic Treasury (Khazneh) , the royal tombs , the theater , and the lower city nestled between the sandstone cliffs. The afternoon is free to continue your adventure by ascending to the spectacular monastery (Ad-Deir) , perched on the mountainside. At the end of the day, return to your lodge in Petra for dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning, head towards the southern Jordanian desert (approximately a 1.5-hour drive). Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and their team , who will accompany you throughout this unique horseback riding adventure . Horses are assigned according to your riding level, while luggage is transported by 4x4 . This first horseback ride takes you to the village of Humayma , where a traditional lunch prepared by a Bedouin cook awaits you. In the afternoon, you continue along camel trails , a pristine area far from the tourist bustle of Wadi Rum. Here, the wild landscapes , red sand valleys , and majestic mountains are home to a few Bedouin families who live in harmony with their herds of goats. At the end of the day, settle into your bivouac under the stars .

After breakfast , you resume your horseback adventure south towards the protected Kharaza region . Here, the terrain lends itself to free gallops , carried along by the silence and the magnificent landscapes of the Jordanian desert. The morning is punctuated by moments of pure freedom, between golden sand and rock formations. A long lunch break allows you and the horses to rest in the shade and contemplate the magic of the place . In the afternoon, you set off again for approximately 2.5 hours of riding through desert valleys to your secluded bivouac site. In the evening, you savor a traditional dinner prepared over an open fire by the Bedouin cook before spending the night under the stars .

Today, you'll ride through the heart of the Wadi Rum protected area , one of the most beautiful desert regions in the Middle East. The morning will be punctuated by approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of riding , with numerous exhilarating gallops offering a feeling of total freedom amidst the endless expanses. You'll stop near the Um Ishrin massif for a delicious lunch , an opportunity to photograph the spectacular landscapes or enjoy a restorative nap in the shade . In the afternoon, you'll set off again for about 2.5 hours of equestrian exploration , through canyons and silent valleys , before reaching a new campsite under the stars , surrounded by nature.

In the morning, we ride for another 2.5 hours on our magnificent horses, enjoying the splendid views, stunning colors, rocky mountains, and valleys. Wadi Rum is a majestic place that never ceases to amaze. After lunch, we ride for another 2.5 hours, crossing the Burdah Bridge to the 5-kilometer-long Barrah Canyon, where we set up camp for the night.

This morning, you continue your horseback adventure through the spectacular Barrah Canyon , one of the jewels of Wadi Rum. Approximately three hours of riding await you, punctuated by numerous opportunities to gallop and breathtaking views . The stark, mineral landscape enhances the feeling of total immersion . After a relaxing lunch break in the heart of the desert, you set off again for another two hours in the saddle , until you reach your evening camp , nestled near a majestic sand dune , ideal for watching the sunset over the desert .

After a final breakfast in Wadi Rum , you'll remount your horse for a last 2.5-hour ride through a spectacular area dotted with natural rock bridges , the Mushroom Rock , and breathtaking panoramas. This is your last chance to gallop freely through these magnificent landscapes. After lunch, you'll ride once more across the desert plains before returning to the city. It's time to say goodbye to your horse and the team , with unforgettable memories to cherish. Return to Amman , where you'll discover the treasures of the old city : the 2nd-century Roman theater , the lively and colorful Souk el-Khodra , and the Al Husseini Mosque . In the evening, enjoy dinner at a former caravanserai turned iconic restaurant, a popular meeting place for Jordanian families, before your overnight stay at a hotel in Amman .
