Arith Hike - Mariet Plateau - The Mountain Refuge

After being welcomed at the office and receiving a pre-trip briefing, you'll head to the starting point of the hike, a 10-minute drive away. For the first two days, you'll hike independently. We'll provide you with a map showing the route, a guidebook, and we'll review the basics of map reading.
You set off above the village of Arith, heading towards Mariet: a wide valley opening to the north, which, via numerous paths and passages, leads to the hidden valleys of La Revêche. You then reach your accommodation at a leisurely pace, a welcoming refuge where you will spend the night.
The landscape then opens up towards the distant Jura mountains, the entire Bauges massif, and of course the "Big Brother" of the Alps: Mont Blanc!
Day 1 -
Hike The refuge - Col de la Cochette - Arith

A lie-in at the refuge, followed by breakfast with a view of Mont Blanc, is not out of the question! You will then head towards the Col de la Cochette (1,317 m) and the Chalet Pernet (1,438 m), from where a 360° panorama allows you to admire seven different alpine massifs.
The afternoon continues with a crossing of the plateaus before descending back towards the Chalet de la Plate and the starting point of the previous day.
Day 2 -
Aquarando

For a first whitewater experience, the Nant de Galpigny aquarando is the ideal family route. Immerse yourself in the world of whitewater in the heart of an exceptional natural geosites. This introductory course, without any rope handling, allows for a gentle and safe progression.
Discover the sensations of canyoning: small jumps, natural water slides, swimming in pools… At the end of the course, you explore by swimming the superb terminal section of the Pont du Diable to the last waterfall.
In the afternoon, you take the road to reach your tipi, set up in the middle of the alpine pastures, for a night full of charm and escape.
Day 3 -
Canirando

You'll meet your four-legged companions during the visit to the Nordic dog farm. The mushers will explain the pack's life and their daily work. The visit lasts approximately one hour.
You then choose the dog that will pull you during the one-hour ride. Back at the base, you take the animals back to their hut and say goodbye.

Summer toboggan

Seated in a large round inflatable tube, you hurtle down a 180-meter-long track, complete with banked turns. The tube spins in one direction, then the other, for even more thrills.
For the more daring, try the big jump : your inflatable tube launches itself on a big jump for maximum thrills, before landing gently on a big air bag.
Self-guided activity, at your own pace — 6 sessions per person
The stay ended in the early afternoon.
