Between Millau, the Tarn Gorges and the Grands Causses plateaus, this multi-activity stay is aimed at regular practitioners looking for a structured, progressive and varied program.
Hiking along the clifftops, electric biking on the Causse Méjean plateau, mountain biking on the Causse Noir, and canoeing down the gorges: each day offers a distinct physical challenge, in keeping with the terrain of the high limestone plateaus and steep-sided valleys. Activity times vary between 4 and 5.5 hours (excluding breaks), with elevation gains adapted to the Causse region.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural landscapes of agropastoralism, the Grands Causses region offers a prime location for an active outdoor holiday. Vast open spaces, limestone cliffs, rocky cirques, and high plateaus shape the landscape. Sheep farming remains a central activity and continues to shape the environment: dry grasslands, stone walls, and isolated sheepfolds.
The routes follow rolling tracks, stony paths and balcony trails overlooking the gorges.
This program is aimed at an audience accustomed to the outdoors, autonomous in their practice and looking for an active stay in Millau combining diversity of terrain, sporting commitment and immersion in a living rural landscape.
