After breakfast, you will depart for the En Golneuf plateau. Located between the Alagon and Santoire valleys, this plateau will bring you closer to the heart of the massif and offer your first glimpse of these beautiful summer pastures. On the horizon, the Cézailler plateau comes into view, and further on, the Sancy massif.

We will explore this stunning glacial cirque, whose amphitheater-shaped landscape is remarkably regular. Having remained untouched by human intervention, it offers an ideal setting for wildlife observation. From the summit of Puy du Rocher, located near Plomb du Cantal but less frequented, we will enjoy a sweeping panorama of the surrounding massif as well as the Alps and the Pyrenees in the distance.

If you arrive by train, the nearest station is Murat, we organize a shuttle service there at a fixed time in the evening at 6:30 pm.
For the return trip on Saturday, we are setting up the shuttle for 11:00 at Murat station.
