    The meeting point is at our partner's base around 8:30 am for boarding at 9:30 am.

    At reception, the person in charge of your file will describe in detail the route you will take (paddling time, landmarks, safety instructions to follow, etc.), then the preparation phase will begin. Each participant will receive a 55L container to store their equipment (as the descent is self-supported, it is important not to forget anything).

    Once everyone is ready, the mandatory life jacket (and optional helmet) will be distributed, followed by a transfer by minibus to our launch point (personal vehicles remain parked in our private lot). At the launch point, final instructions will be given before departure, and canoes and paddles will be provided.

Note

The activity is feasible every day subject to favorable weather conditions (absence of a specific alert bulletin issued by the competent authorities prefecture / meteorological services) and available spaces in campsites/bivouacs.

Accommodation

⛺️ Bivouac / Tent - Days 1 to 2

The first night of your activity will be spent at a campsite on the banks of the Ardèche River . It has a small snack bar and a bar. We can reserve this overnight stay for you (payment to be made on site upon your arrival).

The second night will be spent at one of two bivouac sites in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve (Gaud or Gournier bivouac). These bivouac areas are relatively basic campsites , equipped with toilets, showers, drinking water points, and barbecues (charcoal is provided by the nature reserve).

You can book near the nature reserve:

  1. Tent for 3/6 or even 15 people
  2. Individual self-inflating mattress
