You'll be welcomed at 7:30 am with coffee to get acquainted in a friendly atmosphere. This time for conversation allows Lisa, your guide, to understand your expectations and suggest a horse that matches your skill level and preferences.
At 8am, prepare the horses and equipment. Each piece of equipment is adjusted to the animal, and Lisa will guide you to ensure proper harnessing.
The departure takes place between 9am and 9:30am, after a short briefing on the specifics of mountain riding.
You'll ride along wooded trails, cross mountain passes and traverse alpine pastures, with some speed work if the terrain allows. The horses can cool off in the streams along the way.
Around 12:30, we took a break on the heights of the Col des Seysses for a rest of about 2 to 3 hours.
In the afternoon, head towards the Sucettes de Borne gorges, amazing rock formations nestled in a wild setting.
Arrival at the refuge between 5:30pm and 6pm. After taking care of your horses, Lisa will introduce you to post-exercise massages and stretches, a special moment to strengthen the bond with your mount.
